Fear Of The Duck is a published strategy game developed in 10 weeks with a team of 5 at Octopus 8 studios. I was acting as both Lead Programmer and Designer.
This unique title blends puzzle mechanics with procedural generation and a touch of horror. Players take on the role of a soul shepherd, navigating procedurally generated purgatory forests to guide lost souls towards salvation via scattered wells. However, the path is fraught with danger. Forest effigies lurk throughout, hindering progress and striking fear into the souls, making them scatter.
Fear Of The Duck throws players a challenging puzzle: appease the enigmatic Puddles, your supreme leader, by overcoming the terrors of the forest and leading the lost souls to freedom.
